Amy
At the heart of Amy's passion is a commitment to help people transform their lives. Nothing brings her more joy than when someone embarks on a journey to a healthier, happier life.
In 2014, Amy Kutch Stanbery left the traditional hospital setting where she had served as the Clinical Director of the Bone Density and Body Composition Center to co-found DexaFit. Her goal was to introduce medical-grade DXA body composition testing to the consumer market. This shift took technology that had previously been confined to hospitals and made it accessible and affordable for everyone.
With DexaFit's technology, they were able to simplify what can often be a confusing journey, turning it into a clear and actionable path towards health optimization. DEXA technology empowers you to make data-driven health decisions because what gets measured gets managed.
It’s become a running joke that Amy possesses a "superpower" – the ability to predict a person's bone density and health needs just by looking at them. Perhaps this insight is the result of 25 years in the field and analyzing countless body scans.
It all starts with a body composition scan that shows you where you currently stand and where you need to head.
Amy is a mother of two wonderful children and a dog mom to a 95-pound adopted German Shepherd named Apollo and her 14 year old Terrier named, Tug. You'll likely spot her on the pickleball court almost daily. Family is everything to her and she comes from a family of Italian bakers, which means pastries are her weakness. However, like most delicious things in life, moderation is key!
